Suitable applications

Connected to your new or existing solar system. Out of the box, the Powerwall 3 incorporates a DC inverter, meaning that unlike the Powerwall 2, you'll now be able to connect your new or existing solar panels straight into it without the need for a third party inverter. This is particularly useful for new systems as the total number of components is reduced and your warranty liability for both your inverter and battery storage will still with one manufacturer (the biggest in the world). You'll also be able to power your home with up to 11,000w of continuous power, more than double that of the Powerwall 3.
