Answer

First, we'll need some details about your home

Such as it's type, how many bedrooms it has, how many occupants use it's energy and how many parts of it's roof you'd like solar panels on - it's nothing too complex.

Questions and answers

From the answers that you provide, we're able accurately to calculate (using MCS data) how much a solar PV installation is likely to impact your home's bills.

Draw

Now, it's time to do some drawing. The really clever bit.

All of the boilers which you'll get on screen will be suitable for your home, based on your answers. We only sell and fit market leading boiler brands, like Worcester Bosch and Vaillant.

Design Solar System Online

Our tech will deep-analyse the data, calculating how many solar panels we can fit, how much energy they'll generate and how that energy will impact your bills.

Solar FAQ's

One of Heatable's approved installation partners, that's who. We support, train and work with a vast network of installers who are insanely good at what they do. They'll look after your home, and hold your hand from the start of your solar journey, right until the end. All of our solar installers are insured, vetted and carry the necessary qualifications to get the job done - right.
No, in most cases you do not require planning permission for a solar panel installation as they fall under permitted development laws. If you live in a listed building, or conservation area, you'll need approval from your council.
First, you'll get a quote online using our 3D mapping tool. This will tell you how many panels can fit on your roof, and show you some estimated savings. Then, if wish to enquire further, we'll complete a full MCS design of your system, showing panel placements and nailing down your savings.
No, scaffolding costs are not included in the online quote. If you wish to enquire further about a package, we'll confirm the access requirements and finalise the price including the type of scaffolding which you need. Scaffolding typically costs around £500-£750.
As you'd expect, it varies on the size and scale of the solar system which you're planning to install on your home. A standard home solar panel installation (without battery storage) typically takes 1 day to complete. A standard home solar panel installation with battery storage typically takes 1-2 days to complete.
No, the feed-in-tariff has now ended. It has been replaced with something similar called SEG (smart export guarantee). This means, when set up, you'll get paid for energy which you sell back to the grid.
No, that's a myth. Solar panels will work, even in low-light conditions. With our AC system, your panels have a bigger operating widow where they can generate energy (they start up earlier, and shut down later). Standard, DC systems do tend to struggle in low-light, as the inverters require more energy to even get started.
This depends on many factors, like your energy usage/demand, the size system which we can install on your roof, and whether or not you opt to add battery storage. In many cases, solar PV can wipe out your entire energy bill, which is insane. Plus, any excess energy which you generate can either be stored, or sold back to the grid for a profit.
Yes - in more ways than one. The installation itself with come with a 2 year, insurance-backed warranty by HIES. In the event of an issue, simply get in touch with us, and it'll be rectified. Plus, your deposit will also be protected. What's more, our exclusive REA Fusion2 solar panels come with a 25 year warranty which is insurance-backed by Munich RE. They'll warranty the product itself for that period, and also the performance levels too.
