Boiler FAQ's

This largely depends on the efficiency of your current boiler and how much energy you use. For example, you could save as much as £840 per year if you are upgrading from an old G-rated boiler to a modern A-rated boiler (along with a programmer, room thermostat and thermostatic radiator controls (TRV's)). For more details, check the Energy Savings Trust website.
The cost of a new boiler depends on a variety of factors, including the type of boiler you select, your location and the complexity of your installation.
Yes, in more ways than one. First, we're a Which? Trusted Traders which means we have to work to their strict standards and guidelines. Secondly, we're Gas Safe Registered, and so are all of the installers who fit for us. We're also fully insured, giving you total peace of mind.
On average installing a new boiler takes between 1 to 2 days to complete. If you are having your old boiler replaced in the same location and with the same type of boiler the process will be quicker (likely one day) compared to installing a different type of boiler in a new location.
Yes, you can. All of our installations have finance options available. You can spread the cost over 3, 5, 7 or 10 years at a rate of 11.9% APR. Or, you can spread the cost with 0% APR up-to 4 years on certain packages. Deposits are optional.
Yes, we can certainly try to. Heatable works with a panel of lenders, so, if for whatever reason you didn't pass with our primary lender, we will pass it over to a secondary who will be able to assist.
That's not a problem. If for whatever reason you change your mind, or need to cancel your install, you can do so without any fees. If you have paid any monies via card, we will refund this directly back to your account.
All of our installation partners go through a lengthy and strict Which? Trusted onboarding process. They're fully insured, highly rated and carry a unique set of skills to get your job, done. You'll receive details about your engineer prior to your install, including photo ID, so you know who to expect.
Our booking calendar is a live system which checks the real-time availability of engineers in your area, so it should be bang-on. On the rare occasion that the date has been double booked, or there's an error, we'll be in touch to arrange an alternative or discuss your options.
Generally, no. If your boiler is in a typical home with two floors, scaffolding won't be needed. If your flue is located above a conservatory or in a particularly high section of your roof, it'd be best if we check first. You can submit an eSurvey and upload some images for us to run through before you book.
