But first, an important heads-up.
The Greenstar i range, including the 30i, has now been officially replaced by the Worcester Bosch Greenstar 4000. Worcester Bosch describes the 4000 as the successor to the Greenstar i, and positions it as a combi for small to medium-sized homes with one bathroom.

Worcester Bosch Greenstar 30i Review: All of its ups & and all of its downs
Worcester has been churning out boilers since before Coronation Street started and rightfully earned the respect of UK homeowners and boiler replacement companies alike.
The Worcester Bosch Greenstar 30i is straight from the 'Greenstar i' range, joining the Worcester Greenstar 25i - Worcester's cheapest and most popular combi boiler, in fact, the same boiler - just a 5kW's less powerful. See our boiler size calculator for more details on kW's.
The Greenstar i is their 'entry-level' range of combi boilers and still boasts some great features, not least of which is an A-rating for efficiency, a pleasingly novel digital display and a reassuring 'Which?' Best Buy Award.
During the early noughties, an independent consumer association by the name of 'Which?' started rating products and services. Today they release an annual boiler survey based on the feedback of installers, of which Worcester has contiued to perform well, hence the Award.
Are there any better alternatives to a Greenstar 30i?
Overall, Worcester combi boilers are great all-rounders, offering reliability, fantastic warranties, and excellent customer service.
Viessmann boilers, on the other hand, are often said to be technically superior, but since they are manufactured in Germany, parts can be a little more difficult to source. [2024 update - this is no longer an issue].
So ultimately, it's a personal choice - do you value excellent customer service and convenience more? Or superior German engineering?
